
Kelsey Plum said “it took a village” to break the all-time NCAA women’s scoring record. She thanked her parents, siblings, coaches, trainers, extended family, and friends for their support. She even had the support of the previous title holder, Jackie Stiles who tried to recruit her to Loyola Marymount to coach her to break her record!
Kelsey broke the record by scoring 57 points in one game against Utah. She had 3 games to do so, but she is glad it’s over. But life is forever changed for Kelsey, just ask her bodyguard. And just think her mom tried to get her to play piano as a kid! Watch the highlights below:
