Wisdom Wednesdays

This week I will bring the wisdom from the Christian Bible.

I needed this today so I hope it encourages you as it encouraged me.

Sometimes I can have faith in some areas, but not others. When I feel like logically some things just won’t work or the odds are stacked against me, I have a hard time believing things will work out for the best. Even as I type this, I cringe because I know God is so much bigger than the “odds.” He is the maker and creator of all things and can change anything at any time, especially for his people.

This is exactly what he says in Psalm 1: 3 and 1:6

He says in Psalm 1: 3,6 That everything the righteous does shall prosper, they will bear fruit every season, and he will  watch over ALL their plans and paths, but there are conditions to earning this type of blessing.

The 4 conditions in this passage are:

  1. Psalm 1:1 Do not follow evil men’s advice – You know the advice of those you know are just going to tell you what you want to hear instead of what is right.
  2. Psalm 1:1 Do not intentionally hang out with evil men/women who scoff (belittle or mock) at God.
  3. Psalm 1: 2 Delight in doing everything God wants you to do, not what is convenient.
  4. Psalm 1: 2b  Meditate on God’s word day and night and are always thinking of ways to serve him better.

Reminder…God wants you to prosper, he wants you to be successful in all you do and if God is for you, who would dare to be against you. Amen and Amen. Keep striving you can make it!

  1. So on point! God is bigger than our imaginations and He will come through in the least expected ways. I’m looking forward to the move of God in my life.
