Aideu 2015, Hello 365 Days of Possibilities

book-1012275by Natalie, Guest blogger

A wise group of men once said, it is so hard to sat goodbye to yesterday. Thank you Boyz II Men for that nugget of wisdom.

As every year comes to an end, it gives us the opportunity to stop and reflect. We take note of what we are grateful for, what we have learned and we find the courage to face new fears with determination.

The skeptic in you might be thinking, what makes 2016 so special? You make 2016 special.

So what if 2015 did not turn out the way you wanted it to be. Do not look backward, look forward. Otherwise, you will miss out on all the amazing opportunities that are just waiting to open up to you at the right time. Blessings always show up on time.

2016 is a blank slate. It is a new book just waiting for you to write the chapters. You might start of erasing some parts, rushing through others to get to the best parts or stuck in limbo with writers block. That is fine. Do not be so hard on yourself. It is not about writing the ‘perfect’ book. The most memorable books have the best endings that stay with you long after you put the book down.

What I am trying to say to you is to focus on the bigger picture. A year is nothing in comparison to your life’s journey.

With that being said, this will be my last post. It is time for me to start writing another chapter in my life. I have really enjoyed interacting with you all and sharing my feelings and thoughts. I have learned  much more about myself and I hope you have too.

I encourage you to move forward in 2016 courageously. Forget about that last chapter you wrote in your journey that did not turn out right. This next chapter has so much potential to be one of the best parts of your life. All you have to do is see, believe it and act on it.

Spreading love and positivity your way. Happy New Year!
