We all have a I can’t… phrase that tends to loop in our heads. Are you aware of yours?

One of my niece’s favorite phrase to say at the moment is “it’s too hard!” Any time I hear her say this phrase, it is like hearing nails on a chalkboard.
Why?
I do not want her to grow up thinking that she can not do something. I want her to believe that she can do anything and that anything is possible. It may not be easy but it can be done.
When I was younger I never really realized just how much believing in yourself influenced your successes in life. It was not until I reached into my late 20s, I realized your mentality in life is more than half the battle.
Have yon ever seen confident children with amazing voices belt out notes you did not even realize they could reach. It is amazing to see talented children with so much confidence in themselves. It makes you wonder what they will be capable of doing two or even five years from now. They did it because they knew it was possible and they believed in themselves.
It is so inspiring to watch people on a mission because it opens your mind to numerous possibilities. It also triggers your imagination. This is important because when we use our imagination we are able to imagine doing things we have yet to accomplish.
Could you imagine what would happen if Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Frida Kahlo and the Dalai Lama said “I can’t do this, it’s too hard?” They would not have achieved such amazing successes and gained world recognition for achieving things that seemed impossible at the time.
Nothing is too hard! It just takes time, patience and determination.
I can’t forget me!
That’s true. However, many of us have paralyzing I can’t statements. Thanks for reading Nichole.
