Why Blog Anyway? Don’t You Have Anything Better To Do?

It’s Relaxing…

I blog because it provides an opportunity for me to relax. Writing is a form of therapy for me and thousands of others.

I love to learn…

Blogging encourages me to search for information. We all know how  we could give ourselves a free education by just searching the net. In fact, there are free classes on the internet at from the world’s best universities including MIT, Harvard, Berkeley at https://www.edx.org/ check it out.

I love to share information

In my adult life, I have become a information highway for those that want the knowledge. In fact, my children call me “fact lady” and friends consider me resourceful. My blog is a great way for me to share knowledge.

I want to make an impact in the media world…

There is a lot of negative news everywhere, but this very news tears at our souls, our well beings, our confidence. So I set out to share positive news, news that will lead to positive change, news that includes solutions or just news that brings a smile to our faces. So I thank God for the idea and I will continue sharing and making a difference as long as I am able and invite other writers to join me. Blogging is so fulfilling when you do it for a purpose. Guest bloggers are welcome no matter your race. The #1 and #2 qualifications are being positive and having a passion for writing.

  2. Great reasons! I blog to spread awareness about premature birth and high-risk pregnancies. I also blog so I can make connections with people and help someone not feel so alone in a situation. I also blog to share important and sometime just fun information.

  3. I’ve also met some inspiring women blogging. This community is so supportive and the stories already told and waiting to be written are amazing.
