I am Not Doing That Anymore…

move on

This post is not just going to be about me, this post is also about you, just keep reading.

About 5 years ago, I started a non-profit called The Black Parent Group, we met every week, then every 2 weeks, then monthly, and now we meet a few times a year. I’ve moved on, since then I’ve started businesses and several other groups. However, people still associate me with only The Black Parent Group and ask me when the next meeting will be. It should be obvious that I moved on if I am planning other large events. I can’t keep doing the same things. My role is to start it and it is the community’s role to continue it. There are all types of people in the world and we all play an important part. We just need to know ourselves and our strengths. I will start it, will you finish it?

Also, I want you to know that you don’t have to apologize when it is time to move on. Don’t stay stuck. You are in control of your choices.
